Budget Reports

The City's fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30. Budget adoption follows a thorough review process. After a review of Departmental requests the City Manager presents to the City Council his proposed budget for review during one or more workshops during the summer. The most recent City Manager's proposed budget is also available on the City's website for review by the general public. During August and September prior to its adoption. City Council adopts the budget in September after two public hearings, held pursuant to Florida Statute, which provides an opportunity for public comment. After adoption, portions of the budget may be amended during the fiscal year by Council at a regularly scheduled Council meeting.
